The Mexico vs England game was lit. LIT. My goodness. So much fun. My sympathies to the Mexico supporters, and my congrats to the English. I’m used to seeing England disappoint in the World Cup, to be honest, the same with the US. But they look good. We look good. Maybe we’ll meet. We’ll see, I am very skeptical about our game against Belgium tomorrow. I hope we can do it. It would be this side’s first time going up against someone who’s ranked higher. So. Big difference. Mexico almost had it tonight…

I’m wiped man. I pushed as hard as I could on that outline, and even though I didn’t quite finish it, I got close enough. The story is nailed down. It’s just about bringing it across the finish line. Whew. What a relief. I am exhausted, though. The most exhausted I think I might ever have been from writing right now. And I can’t let up yet. Gotta keep pushing. I start actually writing tomorrow. Sheesh.

It’s because I wrote another book this year, without question. It’s been a reach. First time always is. Just like writing my first book in the span of a single calendar year. Sigh. But it’s proving to me I can do it, just like I’ve known I could. And I can do more, I know that for certain as well. More, and better, without being so rushed, so zonked, so wiped. So, that’s the rabbit I’ll keep chasing. I’ll get there.

Lots to do in the meantime. Night night.
