I wonder if our NAS might be in too warm of a location. It doesn’t get direct AC, so it is warm back there. I decided to move it. It’s in the guest bedroom, now, for the hot months. At least until I figure something else out. Precious cargo on that thing! And the backup drive I have plugged into it is down at the moment, which prompted the move. Not sure what’s going. I’ll have to plug it into my computer tomorrow and see what error it gives me. Probably a failed drive. Maybe because it was warm? Who knows. If so, lesson learned. Won’t make that mistake again. But we’ll see. Could be something else entirely.
I got my reading done, which meant I got my pages off to my co-writer. I’m a day behind, which after three weeks—especially the last two of them—is pretty good! I’ll take it. I still have stuff to make up. My giveaway novel first and foremost. And then outlining. Lots to do. So much to do. Sigh. But I can do it. I am doing it.
That was basically all I did today, was read, edit, and sleep. It worked, though. I do feel recharged for the week.
