Did you know Robinson Crusoe was based on a very real guy? Not quite shipwrecked on a deserted island—he actually chose to be left behind—but he lived there all by himself for almost four and a half years before finally being ‘rescued.’ Wild! He was super famous at the time, and directly inspired the fictional character.

This book on pirates is waaaaaayyy more interesting than I thought it was going to be. It’s freaking awesome. Can’t wait to read more of it.

Wasted two hours on the phone with AT&T today. I can confidently say I will never go back to using them. This ordeal has been an absolute nightmare. I won’t get into specifics, but just…be warned. As with most shitty conglomerates, everything they do is aimed at squeezing every last penny from you.

Writing suffered because of the aggravation, but I rallied. 12 pages instead of the 15. I can recover tomorrow. And I think I’ll just about hit the end of my outlining, which is a little stressful. Means more of that to come. Sigh. But I can do it. I’m getting there. Just gotta keep pushing. It’s not quite been two months of this insane schedule…it feels like it’s been a year. But damn it will feel good to have it done.

I spent the afternoon taking an old Sasha and Digweed mix and turning it into a writing session. That was fun. It involves tracking down the full songs in some cases so I can either cut out radio chatter/stings, or extend songs that were mixed into their original, unmixed intros or outros. Not easy! But I did it. Sounds gooood too. Very happy with it. Very happy. That’s what I wrote to for my evening sesh, which I did right on time, despite all the shenanigans. Tomorrow, no shenanigans. Only writing and outlining.

Night night.
