This evening’s fine distinction is…All-Wheel Drive (AWD) versus 4-Wheel Drive (4WD). Let’s get into into!

All-wheel drive is for on-road driving in slippery conditions.

Four-wheel drive is for off-road driving in extreme terrain.

I have to admit that I only recently learned this! lol. So, AWD is a safety feature. It’s always on. And it works by intelligently balancing power between front and rear wheels so as to maintain traction. 4WD is an on/off system, and when on, equally distributes power to all four wheels for extreme traction to get over stuff like sand or boulders.

Good stuff 🙂

Twas a busy day for me work-wise. So many meetings! I have a few projects all coming to life kind of at the same time. We’ll see how it goes. Waiting for stuff to be approved and finished at the moment, and then it will be go-time. Might be busy here for a bit.

Writing was…only a little bit. I didn’t get to bed on time, so waking up this morning was rough. Tired, though I rallied throughout the day. I’m back at it hard core tomorrow though. It’s time. Get this ball rolling, baby.

HOT. So hot. 102º today, and triple digits for the…fourth day in a row? I think so. Just murderously hot at the moment. It’s supposed to abate in about a week.

Finished watching the BBC Henry V. Not bad. Not great. Wasn’t in love with the choice they made for several of Henry’s speeches. I started Olivier’s Henry, too, and already am not that impressed with the speeches there, either. I will say it’s satisfying, however, to notice what cuts they’ve made in the script. Proud of the ability to do that after only reading it for two times through. I’m picking up a lot. Really just getting so much more able to read Shakespeare cold, too, not looking stuff up as much.

Anyway…it was a good day. I took a little nap, which was clutch. Kept me going. Keeping up with the reading of my friend’s book, too. And now I have some time to read about pirates for a bit before bed. Glorious indeed.

Night night.
