A better writing day! Whew. This book is going to be fun. Gotta crack it all the way open first, obvs, but it’s gonna be fun. I don’t know how TV writers do it. Or at least did it back in the day. Break a story in an afternoon. How the fuck? I want to know how, actually. Is it that they had a bunch of people to do it together? I don’t know. Practice, I guess. Knowing your characters down pat, so it’s immediately clear how they’ll react in any scenario…
I mean, I know that, too, so that’s not it. It just takes me a while, man. My plots are decently intricate. Twisty turny. So was BSG, and they did like 20 episodes in a season. Sigh.
I’ll get faster someday. In the meantime, here I am, taking months.
