The Dungeon Crawler Carl Halloween was a success! It rained, so the crowds weren’t quite as large as hoped, but there were still plenty of trick or treaters, and several DCC lovers came by to see the costumes and decoration. Apparently, Dayna’s house was all over the DCC groups, which is so cool.
They threw a party, too, and that was fun. Got to meet some fun people, including Dayna’s mom. We talked about books and sat outside, listening to the rain.
Liz and I watched the very end of the Valkyries game 7…and they WON. Their first championship in their second year of existence. WILD. I look forward to watching the entire game when we get back home. I’ve been spoiled with my basketball teams over the last decade or so. I think that’s five titles in 11 years? Wild.
And then to end the night, we filmed a bunch of clips for D to use on her socials with her in costume. All of us in costume, really. It was fun.
I am wiped. But tomorrow is planned to be a chill day. Antoine is looking forward to watching Red Zone together. That should be fun.
