There’s this mini movement over the past couple years for stripped down, smaller, less-connected phones. I love the idea. Cheaper, more resilient, less-capable phones so I spend less time on it—would be great. Give it an eink screen, god that would be awesome, charge it once a week. I’d literally buy one tomorrow…
If Apple made one.
I’m completely in their ecosystem. My notes, my photos, my calendar and emails, and most importantly, their cloud. If they allowed outside phones to access iCloud, I would move. I’d do it, and be so excited to. Or, Apple, make one yourself. I tingle at the thought of your take on an eInk screen.
But, alas, I doubt that’s happening. Maybe some day. Less apps. Just the essentials. Smaller. Cheaper. More durable. That would be amazing.
Night night.
