Act One is outlined! And it’s goooood too. Stuff I can’t wait to write. Phew. Got to hang with fam. Did a bit of going through my editor’s stuff. Dinner with J and her friends. Got Liz’s computer set up with AppleCare. A good day. Night night.

Definitely bed time. Wiped from a long, good day. Work was pretty chill so I was able to fill several hours with going through the manuscript back from our editor. No outlining though, which is frustrating. Just too distracted I guess. I’ll be back at it tomorrow....

I made really good progress today on the outline. It feels good. Really good. Scenes I can’t wait to write. And I’m almost out of the first act. One of my shorter ones, I think. We’ll see. The pups are shorn. Soft af. Smell good too. We got them both done together...

The next phase of the writing is underway. Whew! Set myself up for a badass opening scene, too. I can’t wait to actually write it, which is, of course, the whole damn point of how much outlining I do. It was the day I needed today. Much more of it to come, as well....

An untethered day, spent trying to get my feet back on the ground. I succeeded I think. A good night’s sleep cures a lot, if not all, as does a nap. I found the latter today after feeding the pups dinner. Hopefully I find the former here shortly. Tomorrow…push. Need...

We spent eight hours driving today, my goodness. Left the house at 10am and got back at 11pm. Dropped off the pups at Stephen and Thida’s because we were going to be gone all day. It’s so nice to drop the pups off there—they love those two like family, and their house...
